For more than three decades, Mukesh Advani has been a trusted legal advisor to businesses, both small and large (including Fortune 500 Companies) and individuals in litigation and corporate matters. On the litigation side, Mukesh has represented clients in all Federal and State Courts in California, including in some landmark cases that were decided by the California Supreme Court. On the Corporate side Mukesh has provided services to small businesses and technology start-ups and emerging growth companies in general corporate law matters, equity financing, stock option plans, employment law matters, commercial contracts, intellectual property licensing agreements, joint venture agreements and outsourcing agreements. Mukesh has also served as outside general counsel for emerging growth companies.
Most recently, Mukesh worked for more than five years with Dental & Medical Counsel, PC, a Healthcare law firm that provides a wide range of services to healthcare providers such as physicians, dentists, pharmacists, optometrists, and veterinarians. Mukesh also represented medical service providers in disciplinary proceedings instituted by their licensing boards and assisted them with their compliance obligations under Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
For the last 30 years, Mukesh has been continuously rated A.V. (very high (legal ability) to preeminent) by Martindale-Hubbell and included in its Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. Mukesh is also included in the 2014, 2015, 2018, and 2019 edition of the Northern California Super Lawyers.
Mukesh has published articles, authored white papers and taught continuing legal education classes on cutting edge legal issues, including Appellate Law, Employment Law, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Privacy Laws and Regulations, Corporate Ethics, Law Practice Management Issues at many prestigious forums, including at the American Bar Association’s annual convention and at the annual convention of National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
